Literature comes alive in this stage adaptation of Miguel de Cervantes’ classic tale. Winner of 5 Tony Awards, Man of La Mancha tells the story of “mad” knight Don Quixote. Cervantes is brought to prison to await his hearing with the Spanish Inquisition but is first put on trial by his fellow inmates where he convinces them that his trial should take the form of an entertainment. Ride along with Don Quixote as the story unfolds. You can almost see the windmill. Filled with inspiring songs such as “Dulcinea” and “The Impossible Dream”, “Man of La Mancha” has had numerous revivals and has become one of musical theatres most enduring classics.
